LeaderShape
This picture is of our family cluster who made added the most value to the entire experience.
Attending LeaderShape in December 2011 shaped my college experience in a way I never thought imaginable. The curriculum was broken up into themes for each day in order to focus our minds and determine what was to be accomplished. Through our group, or “family cluster”, I was able to share my story, what I was experiencing throughout LeaderShape, and make friends along the way. Creating a close-knit culture was imperative to the ultimate success and takeaways from the experience. The end goal was for participants to leave with the knowledge necessary to “lead with integrity and [have] a healthy disregard for the impossible”. I never believed I could make the change I wanted to see in people’s lives until I attended LeaderShape. Since December, I have been working with friends in my fraternity to develop a program focused on self-reflection and development. I want people to have the opportunity to look at their lives and passions and incorporate them into their future as best as possible. The friends I met at this institute have helped me realize and move forward with my vision for the future where people are so passionate and caring about their work that they can’t help but be happy.
